An hour later you've scrolled past a million items from Shein and confusingly favourited a bunch of random things, bought nothing and your coffee's gone cold.

You want to dress comfortably, boldly, elegantly. You care about not adding to landfill. And the scrolling, the sizing guesswork, the quality-checking… it's a lot.

And that's where I come in.

Here's how the magic happens

Choose your subscription length

Pick how long you'd like to work together (1, 3 or 6 months). This locks in your monthly rate for my services, plus shipping to you at the end of each month.

Build your style profile

Fill in a focused onboarding form: your sizes, your loves, your hard no's. Browse a curated set of Pinterest moodboards and tell me what resonates. The more honest you are, the better I can shop for you.

Set your clothing budget

Once I've received your style profile, I'll send you a link to set your monthly clothing budget (€50, €100, or €200). This covers the cost of your pieces, plus inbound shipping to me, so I can quality check everything before it's sent on to you.

I go hunting

Every month I search Vinted with your style profile in mind, sourcing pieces that make sense for your budget, only buying from trusted sellers and ordering everything to my address first so I can inspect it. I generally avoid H&M, Shein and similar fast fashion brands on principle, aiming instead for better quality pieces that will actually last.

Your delivery arrives at your door

At the end of each month I package everything up and send it straight to you. Gorgeous pieces, chosen with care, like a gift from a friend who really knows your style.

We refine as we go

After each delivery, I'll send you a short feedback request. If you've selected a 3 or 6 month subscription, with every delivery, I'll learn a little more about what makes you feel like you. That's the magic of a monthly ritual.

So, who is The Secondhand Stylist?

Hi, I'm Nicol.

I spent five years inside the fashion machine, working at the Amsterdam headquarters of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Beautiful brands. Enormous scale. And an uncomfortable ringside seat, seeing just how much the fashion industry produces, discards and starts again.

I studied Environmental Science before fashion found me. The tension between those two worlds never really left.

These days I'm based in Maastricht, and Vinted changed something for me. Here was a way to dress beautifully, in quality pieces, at a fraction of the price, without adding to the pile. I became obsessed with the search. Turns out, not everyone is.

So I made it a service. Now I do the hunting, so you don't have to.

What happens after I pay my subscription fee?

On your payment confirmation page, you'll receive a link to your style profile and you'll fill out the form, so I get to know your goals, your sizing and your preferences. (Nothing complicated, just honest questions like what size tops and bottoms do you wear, if there are certain styles and colours you love or would like to avoid and which of the curated Pinterest moodboards speaks to you most.) Once I've received your style profile, I'll send you a link to pay your preferred monthly clothing budget. Once I receive that, I start hunting.

How long until my first delivery?

Once you've submitted your style profile, I start curating at the beginning of the following month. Your first delivery arrives at the end of that month. So expect 4–6 weeks from sign-up to first delivery… Good things take a little time.

Do you ship to my country?

I ship across Europe. If you're not sure whether your country is covered, just drop me a message before signing up.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. Life happens. Message me and we'll sort it out. I'd rather you pause than cancel, and I'll hold your style profile for whenever you're ready to continue.

What if my clothing budget isn't fully spent one month?

Any unspent amount rolls over as credit toward your next month's curation or shipping, so nothing is wasted. In your final month, I'll do my best to spend any leftover budget.

What happens if I don't like something?

I'll always do my best, and if something genuinely misses the mark, please tell me. I use your feedback to get better each month. I extend Vinted's policy of no returns. What I can guarantee is that I'll inspect each item before sending it to you and I'll take every piece of feedback seriously and adjust.
